Wine Tasting - Winter White (Orange & Rosé) Wine Tasting
Missoula Wine Merchants
Wednesday, January 22, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Flight of six wines + hors d'oeuvres for $30
After mid-September or so, we always notice a slowdown in interest in white wines around the shop. While many white wines are the stereotypically light, citrusy porch-pounders that taste so good in August, there is a huge range of both domestic and imported white styles that are full-bodied, nuanced, and complex, without veering into buttery-oaky territory. These white wines make hearty winter stews, soups, and pasta dishes that much more delicious on a cold January evening.
We're out to prove that yes, you can (and should!) drink white wine after Labor Day. We hope you'll join us!
